atehwa: First, I'd like to say thanks for a very nice night. I had lots of fun and my friends Jan and Inari had too, although Inari had to leave quite early.

In the party, we talked about forthcoming meetings, but if there was practical talk about how they will be arranged, I missed it. I propose that there should be at the very least an email list for those who want to be informed about HC meetings in Helsinki. That way, people don't need to reduplicate Tilman's effort of sending ~300-400 messages through the HC main interface. :P

I could also mention already at this stage that in addition to “traditional” parties, I would find it a great thing if we also did outdoor activities together, such as going on beach or to a park to play football. But first, we need to put up some medium to spread the information about such events. Basically, we could use HC fora etc., but as many otherwise perfectly active people almost never log in to HC, at least I would value a message to my own email (as long as the list is not used for discussion, in which case it will mess up my personal email too much).
