I have had the chance to do so far three trips to the USA in my life.

First trip:

New York and Chicago in 1984 with my mother. As I was just about a few months old, I don't remember all the details of that trip ;-) Some might argue that this doesn't even count as a trip... Anyway, it was nice :)

Second trip:

During my exchange in Canada, in October 2007, I started a roadtrip to Ottawa, Toronto, and ultimately also to Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, and Kane on the US side. Read the full trip report here.

Third trip:

In November, HEChange (the local association for exchange students at HEC) organized a weekend trip to Boston. Of course, I had to join :) Once in Boston, I naturally had to go to New York City. I would not forgive myself if I wouldn't go to NYC during my exchange. As I had a person whom I wanted to meet in Philadelphia, it made sense to do that on the same trip, as Philly is just a couple of hours south of NYC. And as I was already so far in the South, I just had to visit another friend in Washington DC. I ended up traveling for 10 days (which was about what I had planned before leaving to Boston), meeting awesome people, and visiting the most impressive cities in North America.
